Safe Harbour- Respect for All
South Burnaby Neighbourhood House is among 31 community organizers across the province, expanding the Safe Harbour Program while creating more inclusive environment that welcomes the diversity. We provide Safe Harbor orientation sessions for businesses and organizations in Burnaby, necessary to become Safe Harbour locations. Safe Harbour locations commit to:
- Treat all their customers and clients in an equitable manner.
- Being an immediate temporary refuge for anyone who experienced mistreatment.
Having all employees prepared to welcome and celebrate diversity and assist those who require refuge from discrimination.
