A great place to relax, feed the family, and meet your neighbours! The dinners take place from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Cost is $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for children. Enjoy children’s activities and entertainment for all. Locations throughout South Burnaby.

Community Talks
After receiving positive feedback from community members about Looking In ~ Reaching Out Community Talks held in 2010, South Burnaby Neighbourhood House decided to continue hosting smaller talks at the house. The Talks will enable community members to come and share their thoughts about local neighbourhood issues, as well as ideas on how to make their neighbourhoods more welcoming and inclusive. It is a good opportunity to connect and network with others in the community.

Evenings at the House
With the initiative of “Evenings at the House”, SBNH is now requesting proposals for free workshop sessions that are 60 - 90 minutes held on workday evenings once every 2 weeks for adult community members and SBNH staff. Topics of these sessions may include Sharing Cultures, Personal Development, Social Issues, Health and Healing, Cooking, and Arts and Crafts. These workshops may be offered in English or any other language and has to be structured in an engaging and interactive way with respect to adult learning principles. SBNH will provide necessary writing, art and food supplies. Proposals should be brief, stating experience with a topic, and a short description of the workshop.
